2015 Favourites

Thursday, 7 January 2016
I'm a creature of habit and tend to get into makeup ruts, reaching for the same products constantly, so monthly favourites posts aren't really something I do. However, over the past year I've managed to collect a decent bunch of tried and tested favourites to share with you guys.

You'll most likely recognise some of these products from previous posts but let's jump straight in!

My Haircare Picks

Wednesday, 7 October 2015
With Priceline doing a 50% off haircare sale today and tomorrow, I figured now is the perfect time to share with you guys some of my favourite haircare bits.

TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray
I use heat on my hair on an almost daily basis, so heat protection is a must for me. Damage is inevitable when it comes to using heat but I find this heat protectant really helps to minimise the effects, and makes my hair feel a lot smoother and less frizzy. I also like the smell of this and it sprays out in a nice fine even mist.

Toni & Guy Sky High Volume Dry Shampoo
If you're after a dry shampoo that makes your hair feel clean and silky, this is not the one for you, however if you're after a super volume kick this is great. It adds a tonne of volume and texture to limp hair, and it's great when your hair is a few days old and needs that extra kick. It's also great if you have super silky hair that doesn't style easily - it adds enough texture to make the hair workable and hold style.

COLAB Sheer & Invisible Dry Shampoo
This is a nice dry shampoo for second day hair, it refreshes the hair whilst leaving it feeling somewhat clean and silky. It doesn't add much volume but it helps to soak up excess oil and the fragrances in this range are lovely.

Organix Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco
When my hair is looking super dry and dead, I put some of this through the ends and it instantly looks healthy and shiny. I'm not sure if this actually helps to nourish or repair my hair at all but it's a good quick fix for making damaged hair look somewhat healthy.

Lee Stafford Treatment "For hair that never grows past a certain length"
I've been using this for a couple of months now (since the last Priceline haircare sale) and I really like it. My hair has grown quite a bit recently - I'm not sure whether the mask has actually made my hair grow, but regardless, it makes my hair feel so smooth and strong, and also adds a lot of shine. It just makes my hair look and feel healthier overall so I'd highly recommend it!

So there you have my favourite haircare bits. Let me know if you try any of them out, or if you have any other suggestions for me.

Thanks for reading xx

Spring Cleaning Part 2 - Products I Would Not Recommend

Monday, 21 September 2015
Continuing on from the Spring cleaning theme of my last post, I thought I'd share with you guys some of the products I came across whilst I was cleaning out my makeup collection that I would not recommend. These are mostly products that I end up throwing out without using them up, or products that I would not repurchase.

My Top 5 Autumn/Winter Lip Shades

Monday, 11 May 2015

As the cooler weather rolls around, in come the vampy/berry lip shades. The best thing about these shades is that they look great one everyone, from light skin to dark (and they tend to make your teeth look whiter!), so I've compiled a list of my personal favourites...

Product Review | Marc Jacobs Lolita Palette

Monday, 4 May 2015

This beautiful baby was gifted to me for my birthday from my lovely friend Kim. I'd never really paid much thought to Marc Jacobs products because as far as I know they're only available at Sephora, however when I saw this palette I fell in love.
